Adam Molnár and his Dao Nei Gong training
Adam Molnár’s training
I would like to introduce you to training that has given me a great deal and recommend it wholeheartedly. For transparency: I have studied with Adam and continue to practise in this lineage – this is a student’s recommendation, not a neutral assessment. I receive no benefit from it.
Would you like to become more embodied? Strengthen and rebuild your body? Discover your energy, or Qi, in the process and live your own embodied spirituality? Or are you looking for an authentic spiritual school? Then, in my opinion, you are in just the right place!
Adam Molnár is a teacher at the Lotus Nei Gong school of Damo Mitchell.
Adam teaches at various locations in Europe, including Austria, Hungary, Switzerland and Italy. Current dates are listed on his website: Dao Nei Gong workshops and retreats.

What actually is Nei Gong?
Nei (=inner) Gong (=quality developed through work) comes from ancient China and is a holistic system for inner growth.
In Nei Gong, we turn our light, meaning our awareness, inwards and transform all aspects of our being.
Initially, the training focuses on optimising the physical body and preparing it for the progressively deeper spiritual work that follows.
Where strength training and gymnastics primarily work with outer structures such as the muscles, Nei Gong, according to its own understanding, addresses deeper layers – fascia and connective tissue. I leave open how much of this is anatomically demonstrable and how much is the tradition’s description; the difference can certainly be felt.
Another initial focus is developing what the tradition calls the lower Dantien – an energy field in the lower abdomen. In this model, it is the foundation for everything that follows. What I can describe of it is a clear sense of density and stability in the abdomen that builds over time.
Working on your own inner values and virtues is also particularly important.
From my experience, I can say that Nei Gong can be deeply enriching for almost everyone.
It is not necessarily an easy path, however, because transforming the body can be a major challenge.

My path to Nei Gong
My own spiritual path first led me (Paul) to yoga and Qi Gong. I was so enthusiastic that I wanted to pay particularly close attention to my teachers and take part. At the same time, I wanted to heal my body and open myself to new experiences in life.
Every 5 months, my experience during and after training would change.
My form of Qi Gong was rather gentle and a practice of mindfulness. Observing the Qi within me led me to the experience of meditation.
When I discovered Nei Gong for myself in 2023, I was excited that it went even deeper and expanded my possibilities for the inner transformation of the body still further!
Who is Adam Molnár?
Adam Molnár has been studying Nei Gong at Lotus Nei Gong since 2016 under the guidance of Damo Mitchell and his various senior teachers, such as Vlastimil Kroupa.

He has been teaching Nei Gong as an official Lotus Nei Gong teacher since 2019.
Adam was a professional triathlete for many years and consequently has a good understanding of training and the body’s capacity for exertion. He also completed a Shiatsu diploma course in Budapest (2017) and an acupuncture diploma at Xian Tian College (2025).
I find Adam an authentic, friendly and funny teacher who guides his students through challenging exercises too. You can see that he takes the inner work seriously and practises very diligently himself. 🙂
I would be happy to see you, dear reader, at the training too! – yours, Paul
